A butterfly sits center chest like it landed there by accident, wings done up in painterly florals with ink drips bleeding at the edges. Something a little rough about it, something a little pretty too.
The cut is boxy and cropped short, so it drapes loose over high-waist jeans or catches on a flowing skirt without trying too hard. Pigment dye gives it that sun-faded look from the first wash, and the fabric has real weight to it, thick enough to hold its shape trip after trip through the laundry.
Good for slow mornings with coffee still too hot to drink. Good for wandering a market with nowhere to be. Throw a cardigan over it once the sun drops and it still works.
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, skip the dry cleaner. Iron on low if you must.
